Thing 3

I can already envision using a blog to have my students journal in Spanish on topics. I have wanted to use journals for some time, but just didn't have the time to read and comment on them periodically. With a blog, I think I could do it. I think it could be a good resource for students who need time to process grammar points and discuss outside of class. They could have other students or myself comment too.

I like your idea very much. Is there a way to keep it private from other students and the general public?

You can keep it private by only allowing people you choose to view it in the settings and permissions tab. I think that would allow me to make it private for just my students.

Great idea for Spanish journals! I would definitely do this with my French students. I think that it would be a good idea to require that comments be entirely in the target language. They definitely know many words for good job, excellent, great idea, etc.

I think journaling would be a great idea to use blogs for in the spanish class. I am just learning to use blogs and I am pretty much in shock about what I don't know. There is so much to learn and so much to explore,
